It's been a sunny, Spring time, April gardening day today. Lovely Violas, re-seeded on their own from last year, surround my back door patio:
Luscious scented Lilacs at my back door patio:
Beautiful Things
All this pain
I wonder if I’ll ever find my way
I wonder if my life could really change at all
All this earth
Could all that is lost ever be found
Could a garden come up from this ground at all
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us
All around
Hope is springing up from this old ground
Out of chaos life is being found in You
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us
You make me new, You are making me new
You make me new, You are making me new
You are making me new
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us
You make me new, You are making me new
You make me new, You are making me new

Lovely photographs and I'm sure the scent is beautiful everytime you use that entrance way.
ReplyDeleteThankyou so much Deb for linking to my scottish nature blog. I alway love finding new blogs and though it's late here I can't wait to browse through your work in the days to come. I'm adding your blog button to my useful resources page aswell to help share 'the word'.
Your very welcome! AND thank you so much for visiting my blog. It so nice of you to link to my blog with my button! :-) I also included your button & link on my side bar.
DeleteI'm an amateur, back-yard photographer but I appreciate the art of real photographers who capture the beauty of this created world. I've shared links to both of your blogs/studio with my oldest daughter who is the real photographer in our family. She's starting her own photography business and her style is similar to your photography.
I hope she does well with her new business. Thanks for the heads up on my button - I've got it fixed now.
ReplyDeleteThat poem is so much an expression of spring. If you were to see my yard in winter it looks so dismal and yet by July it is amazing what comes forth. Even now watching the tulips wake up is so refreshing. Getting ready to leave town and part of me doesn't want to miss anything in the garden, but alas, summer is our busy time so now is vacation.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you my friend,
Coleen in Ukraine
My yard is the same way and each Spring I enjoy watching for the new growths and signs of what is going on underground, unseen stirrings. I never get tired of it. Spring is a WONDERful time of year!
