Violet is for faithfulness,
Which in me shall abide;
Hoping likewise that from your heart
You will not let it slide,
And will continue in the same,
As you have now begun;
And then forever to abide
Then You My Heart Have Won.

"...to gather summer roses,
violets by the rill
the modest azure violets,
sweet daughters of the spring;
what memories of childhood
those little blossoms bring..."

Just lovely. I really like doing vintage, but little time for anything extra. Especially since I'm trying to do this online journaling class. The violet is a pretty touch. You have inspired me with the care and love you put into your blog. I should live my life so there is not so much demand to do the same, but summer is our busy season with visitors, camps, kid's events, etc. Mission field never sleeps, but God is gracious and his desires are paramount.
